! IINITrD HRXSB ASSOCIATION. Stdnf.t. 15th April. Tho Premier has received throngh tbe Agent-General the following cable message from the British Consul in Paraguay :— " Some colonists have applied to me for passages to Buenos Ayres, which I am now in a position to grant. Six have paid their own passages. I found work for another poor man. One hundred and ten soula have aban;_ doned tbe colony. The latent intelligence is unfavourable. Some are dissatisfied with the administration, and will return to Australia. Those who have gone to the Government colonies are satisfied."
