EXTRAORDINARY AFFAIR AT GREENWICH. [united prkss association, i London, 15th February. An explosion of a peouliar nature ii reported from Greenwich. The remains of a man unknown, but believed to be a foreigner, were discovered outside of the Observatory there, he having been blown to pieoes. The fragments of a bottle were found near the soene, and it is supposed that the deoeased intended to attempt to destroy the Observatory, and that while in the aot he fell, breaking the bottle which contained the explosive, and thus oaused his own death. 16th February. At 6 o'clock in the evening the keeper of the park, hearing a report, proceeded in tho direction of the scene. He found a man with his left hand and wrist blown away, his legs shattered, and his stomaoh torn open. The olothing had been torn to shreds. While suffering terrible agony, he gasped, " Take me home !" He was removed to the hospital, but died in a few minutes. In his pockets were found oards engraved " Marshal Bourden, Autonomio Anarchist Club, Great Liohfield-street," also small packages of an unknown powder, the properties of which have yet to be ascertained. Ha is believed to have arrived from Paris after the Caf* Lazaire oxplosion, and to be the leader of a great Anarchist plot which, the police unearthed in London yesterday. It is now said that his object was to dispose of the explosives in the country. Henoy is said to be connected with the same club. Latest. ENGLISH TOLERANCE DENOUNCED. A GREAT BLOW TO BE STRUCK. Anarohists paid a nocturnal visit to the lodging oooupied by Camilla Henri (not Averse, as the name was first reported), at Belleville, and took away a number of bombs and burned all papers. The police lately have been closely watching a boardinghonse club, and the members, expecting a raid would be made, dispersed yesterday. The French press denounoe the incredible tolerance shown by England to Anarohists. It is rumoured that the French Government iutends to revive the passport system for all travellers from England. The Gaulois says an Anarqhist has left London with a million francs in his pocket to strike a great blow on the Continent. I special. I (Received February 17, 11.45 a.m.) Berlin, 16th February. Germany is consulting Great Britain and other Powers on tho subjeot. of taking united action against Anarohists.
