Sm— All supporters of the Direct Vote should be extremely obliged to yonr corre. spondent " True Blue " for exposing one of the many falsities which the saloon-keepers are actively promulgating regarding Mr. Bell's candidature. That Mr. Bell has in. ourted the bitter opposition of the trade hero cannot be denied after reading the wolf-like attack made upon him Bystematioally by the newspaper issued by the "ring" here; and it therefore behoves those who wish to see the rights of the people placed before the interests of a huge monopoly to Btand shoulder to shoulder on the 28th November.
