I admit I sold wool to the Company, wbioh, under the Articles of Association, I was perfeotly justified in doing, provided a written authority had been given signed by two Directors and the Secretary. I am again a candidate tor a seat on the Board, whioh position I have held for the last nine years, and during that time have devoted a great deal of time and attention to the affairs of the Company, and may therefore claim some small amount of the credit, which Mr. Macdonald takes wholly to himself , 'tor having bronght tho Company to its present prosperous and satisfactory position I am, Ladies and Gentlemen, Your obedient servant, W.
