Melbourne, This Day. The Premier considers it unnecessary that the delegates to the Canadian Conference should bo members of the Ministry. He states that in the event of the Conference taking place in Australia, the probability is that Victoria will be represented by a leading public man outside of the Government. Brisbane, This Dat. The Government does not iptend to appoint two delegates to the Canadian Conferenoe. Sir Thomas M'Hwraith, the late Premier, who is en route to Canada, will represent tho colony if the Conforonce is held in the Dominion.
