THE LATE MR. LEVIN.
The Directors of the Caledonian Society last night passed a resolution of condolence, Mr. Levin having been a member for many years. At the meeting of the Benevolent Trustees this afternoon it was jecided, on the motion of the Chairman (Key. H. Van Stavoren), seconded by Mr. T. W. M'Konzie, " That a vote of sincere condolence and heartfelt sympathy be conveyed to Mrs. Levin at the Bad bereavement eho has sustained by the .demise of Mr. W. H. Lo-sin. The Trustees also desire to place on reoord their sense of the loss the poor and needy have suffered by his untimely death." A blue streak has been painted around the B.s. Kiwi, owned by Messrs. Leviu & Co., iji token of mourning, and the other vessels in which the firm is interested are likely to be similarly treated.
