The mental worry attached to the 35 days' hearing, and the excitement of its conclusion — Mr. M'Donald disagreeing with the other Magistrates — broke down his health. It has transpired that the Judges were not unanimous in holding that the presenco of an alien on the Grand Jury invalidated the indictment, Jndirea A'Beckett and Hood being both opposed to the opinion of the Chief Justice
