.UNITID PRESS ASSOCIATION.' Sydney, 30th July. The ballot of tho men on strike is in favour of accepting £1 reduction instead of £2, as proposod by tho owners. The ballot-papers contained the question whether the strike should bo declared off, but the officials state that tho hitter wa3 left to tho decision of the Eiccutive, who have communicated on the matter with the South Australian, Victorian, and Queensland Unions.
