Corporal Liery, of the" Now South Wales Cavalry, took first prize in tho sword v. lance contest at Dublin, and Corporal Cole first in the lance y. bayonet competition. No. 1 team of the Victorian Artillery secured tho first prizo in tho driving competition. Tho Victorians also got first prize for wrestling on horseback, and Driver Ryan was first in lemon-cutting and second in the Victoria Cross competition, ir'ome of the other men secured places in several events.
