The Customs duties collected at the port of "Wellington for the week ending to-day amounted to £7210 Us sd. Beer, £19 19s 2d George Thomas & Co. report wholesale produce prices aa follows : — The demand for oats is inactive ; in fact there iSTery little speculation in any line of feeding cram ; ptime Cunadians are worth 2a Sd, and Danish Is lid to 2s Id ; black and dun Tartarian**. 2s ; oatmeal, £10 10s to £11 ; oaten sheaf chaff, 75s to 85* ; roller flour, £9 10s ; stono do. £8 10 a ; bran, £3 10s ; pollard, £3 los j whole fowls' wheat, 2s 2d to 2s 4d : maize, 3s ; beans, 3s 6d ; blue pens, 3s 9d ; pearl barley. 10s ; split peas 14s ; old potatoes, £JJ new round do, n*d kidneys, Sa t^fl f a f.n.f . onions, 83 to 93 ; prims factory hums and, oaenn, 6Jd ; factory cheoße, ssd ; salt butter, 8d to 9d: fresh butter, Sd to 9d ; egsr3, reduced to yd aud 9d per doz— a heavy drop, owiu™ to Christmas demand having ceased. A large shipment of fruit, ex. Mararoa, from Sydney, arrived in a much battered condition, and very wot, bnt meeting a bare market, the results were in every case satisfactory. Fruit from Nelsou is very scarce, batebipments are now arriving from the Auckland districts. Poultry is in poor de. maud at 2s 6d per pair for fowls, ducks 4s, geese 5s 6d, and turkeys $s. Fungus ia fully worth 2Jd.
