[UNITED FBESB ASSOCIATION. I (Received January 7, noon.) London, Cth January. The Indian Government has decided that the transit rates on colonial cablegrams shall remain at 33 centimes while the European and Australian rate is 4s 9d per word. [On the Colonial Governments raising thft rates of English cablegrams from 4s to 4s 9d per word the Indian Government raised thoir rates for transmission of colonial telegrams from what is still their ordinary rato of 20 to 35 centimes, notwithstanding the protests of the cable companies against this special imposition. From the above cablegram it will be seen that the Indian Government have confirmed their decision to make a differential rate against our messages,!
