The Turikina. made a start for Timarn on Friday last, bat had to anchor in Worser Bay owing to the southerly wind blowing. She leaves the urst favourable opportunity The ss Duke of Devonshire, from London via AucKland, arrired nt 4 yesterday afternoon. She is a sister ship to the Duke of Argyle, and this is her first visit to Wellington. Her officers are us follows:— Captain, E. C. Long; first officer, W. D. Irvine ; second, Mr Jenkins ; third, Mr Leek ; first engineer, Mr Cxqpley ; second, Mr Brunsden ; third, Mr Lambre; fourth, Mr Leach; first ro- ' friiterator. Mr Belgrave; second, Mr Williams; medical officer, Dr Connolly. Her cargo for Wellington consists of 2000 tons. After discharging here she proceeds to the Australian side for meat and general cargo
