79, LAMBTON-QUAY, City. l(*f BOOTj*)] 28, CUBA-STREET, CHy. THE BOOT PALACE, 79, LAMBTON QUAY, AND THE CASH BOOT MARKET, 28, CUBA-STREET CHRISTMAS, 1892, AND NEW TEAR, 1893. R. HANNAH compliments. IN returning our sincero thanks for the annual increase in our buainess, we are glad to announce that 1892 haa been one of the moat flourishing and successful of the past eighteen years, during whioh we have had the pleasure of catering for the requirements of the Boot purchasing public, which goes to show that the publio receive good honest value for their money. No trade or local industry lias gone through 80 many changes or made more satisfactory progross during the past eighteen years as the Boot Manufacturing industry. Kightoon years ago we were employing six men ; to-day we havo 236 on our pay-sheet. Our efforts to supply the various tastes and requirements of all parts of New Zealand in the article of Boots and Shoes have boon liberally responded to, and while the public ate bestowing upon us their liberal support thoy aro thereby supporting their fellow men, bocauso while we employ 236 men we are actually the means and source of directly feeding and clothing not leas than 1400 men, women, and children ; and this consideration, we think, gives us a just claim in the future for the same unbounded liberal support aa we have roooived in the past. Our CASH BONUS sysfem has worked us thoroughly into the oonfidonce of the Boot and Shoe wearing publio. They are not asked by us to hold dummy Bhares, or take any risk whatever ; and yet our customers have received no leas a sum than £2350 18s 5d during the past year in the shape of cash discounts, and we hope this amonnt will be doubled in 1893. Tho publio can rely upon R. HANNAH & CO. that they will in the futnre, as well aa thoy have done in the past, secure the very best and latest ideas in all kinds of Boots and Shoes through their London and Continental buyers. The value of the stocks we hold open for publio inspection is £65,000, besides whioh we hold a Reserve Stock of 400 Trunks in the Queen's Bond, whioh rnpresenta an additional £10,000. That means the publio have £75,000 worth of stook to select from in purchasing from us ; and theae goods have all been paid for at the rate of 20b in the £. Yet we are acknowledged by all to be the cheapest house in New Zealand. We regret space will not permit us to give a detailed price-list, but it is sufficient to say— HANNAH IS TIVING CHRISTMAS VALUE IN BOOTS AND SHOES. PRICE LIST : (Men's Department. Ladies' Department.
