This firm was also highly successful at Glasgow and Melbourne, Scotch whisky may be olassed broadly into ' Highland malts ' and ' Raw grains,' with perhaps a third variety wiled ' Lowland malt," which is made in the southorn oountries. The Highland comos to us from remote glens, where tho purity of the water is unquestionable, and it is distilled from the best malted barloy procurable.
