Mr. Shiels, the Premier, complimented the Opposition on their outspoken and fair criticism, and severely condemned the action of a number of half-hearted Ministerial supEorters, who were ready to dosort in tho our of battle. The debate concluded at 3 o'clock this morning, and resulted in a victory for Government by 53 to 32.
