WELLINGTON CORPORATION AND HARBOUR BOARD STREETS AND LANDS ACT, 1892. IN PARLIAMENT. In the matter of a Bill intituled " The Wellington Corporation and Harbour Board Streets and Lands Act. 1892." PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that a Local Bill, promoted jointly by the Wellington Corporation and the Willington Harbour Board, and having the above short title, will be introduced into Parliament during the present session. The objectb which the Bill is intended to effect are :—: — 1 . To enable the Governor-in-Council : — (a) To vest a piece of land adjoining Customhouse-quay in the Corporation for street ],nrposesi (b) To vest a piece of land adjoining the Queen's Wharf in the Board for general pnrposes (c) To vest a piece of land under the Queen's Wharf in tho Board for general purposes (d) To vest a pieco of land adjoining the old site of the* (jjneen's Bond in tbo Board as a reserve (c) To vest a pieco of land adjoining the old sito of the Queen's Bond m tho Board as an endowment (f) To divest from the Board and vest in tho Corporation for street purposes a piece of land lying between Customhouse and Jervois - quays now vested in the Board for the same purposes. 2. To vest a piece of land at Mount Victoria in the Board for a Signal Station. 3. To authorise the Board to occupy so mnch of the roadway of Waterloo-quay as is now covered by the encroachment of a shod thereon. 4. To enable the Corporation to lease a portion of Jervois-quay to the Board aB a weighbridge site. 5. To alter the width, and position of por- / tion of the roadway known as Jervoisqnay. A oopy of the Bill has been deposited at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at Wellington, and is there open to public inspection. Plans showing the positions of the lands proposed to be dealt with in this Act have been deposited with the Bill, and are also open to public inspection. Dated this 12tli day of August, 1892.
