A PAESEE IN THE COMMONS. THE UNIONIST PRESS LESS HOPEFUL. I SPECIAL. J (Received July 8, 10.45 a.m.) London, 7th July. The Freeman's Journal states that Australia and America have each forwarded to the M'Carthy Party. The Times, commenting on the election of Mr. Dadabhai Naoroji, a naturalised Parsee, for Finabury, says it is an experiment that has created great interest, and will bo watched with attention. The Daily Chronicle says the Liberals have failed wherever they neglected the Labour interest, bat the Radical triumph in London is complete. The Unionist press now takes a less favourable view of the possible result of the elections.
