HOMELY HINTS.

To make rusty flat irons clean and smooth, tie a piece of beeswax in a rag, and when the irons are hot rub them with the rap, and then scour with a paper sprinkled with salt. A good way to clean glass bottles is to put fine coal ashes into them, shake well, and rinse thoroughly. Papier Mache articles should be washed in warm water, and soap, and polished with a little beeswax, dissolved in sweet oil.
