The Zanzibar correspondent of the Standard says it is reported that the natives have inflicted a severe defeat on the British East African Company's Sepoys, under the oommand of Colonel Rogers, at Witu, killing many of their number and capturing a Maxim gun. The Sepoys were greatly outnumbered.
