As was feared, threo of the iron floor frames of the vessel and also the sister kelson on tho starboard sido aro broken. About 150 ft of the vessel's bottom on both sides, taking in nine plates on the port and ten on the starboard side, is more or less damaged, and it is estimated that it will cost about £2900 to effect the necessary repairs. Now that an inspection of the damage has been mode, it is very evident that tho safe arrival of the vessel at port is greatly due to her insulation, assisted as it was by tho wool that was stowed in the lower hold immediately ovor the large fracturo.
