Cheistchurch, 23rd November. A man named Charles Ingram, aged 54, diod suddenly this afternoon from pains in the chest contracted during the day. This becoming excessive a doctor vaß sont for. An inquest will be held. Auckland. 23rd November. A pan named Robert Shaw, who has been missing from Cambridge for about a week, has been drowned, as his dead body has been discovered in the Waikato River, near Huntly. Tho body was without a coat when found, and the man's watch was missing. Oamabu, 23rd November. Tho boy Genge, who was injured by a bullet whioh passed through tho target of a shooting gallery at the Show, died in the Hospital to-night. Napier, 23rd November. At tho inquest on the yonng man George William Hallam, who was killed by falling over the Bluff to-day, there was no_ evidence to show how he got into that position, and the verdict Accidental Death was returned. PALMERBTON NORTH. THIS DAY. A young man named John Curran was run over by a dray last evening. Little hopes aro entertained of his recovery. His home is at Greymouth.
