TO THE EDITOR. Sir— Might I so far trespass on tho columns of your paper as to draw the attention of the polico to the blocking of the pavement in Dison-stroet on Sabbath evenings? It is tho custom of the Salvation Army to hold opwah- meptings at the timo tho different churches arc going in, and this has tho effect of attracting a largo crowd of men and boys, who effectually bar tho pa-ssago on the pavement. Last night tho people passing along Dixon-streethad to take to the muddy road, and this was particularly annoying to ladies.
