It was mnoh to be regretted that a man of his years and position should place himself in the felon's dock, but that was caused by his own aot, and his Honour could not consider the lamentable consoquences to tho prisoner's family. Offences of this kind would have to be put down, and he conld not deal lightly with the prisoner. Henninßharn was then sentenced to threo years with hard labour. A meeting fer the re-establishment of tho Womcm's Prayer Union is to be held at 3 p.m. to-morrow, in the Christian Association Kocma, Manners-street. Thk "Ivan" ooat, in white and cream, for girla' wear, and the " Darby," for boys, aro not only tho prettiest, but tho most useful garments for winter wear. Tbe colours are guaranteed not to fade, nor will the material shrink in cleaning. These are well worth seeing, at Te Aro Houso. To matoh the above coats wo havo a large stock of granny bonnets, in plush, cloth, and astrachan, from 33 6d to 15a eaoh ; "Seesaw " caps in the eatno material from 1b to 78 Gd eaoh ; and wool bonnets aud liats in over 100 varieties trom la eaoh, at To Aro Houso.
