The Stook Exohange weekly report is as follows :— Thore has not been as much crashing done this week as will bring the total of amalgam up to tho usual record, in addition to which tho Progress and United Alpine yields will not be known before Monday next, by whioh time the monthly cleaning up will be mado. So far, the Globe, Dark, Wealth, and No. 2 I>ark, hare returned 458 ounces of amalgam, of which the latter includes the contents of <the boxes. It is expected that dividends in -tho Progress, No. 2 Dark, and Alpine, will -be declared, Business has been done in several lines this week, and although not of an extensive character, tho market has vow and again shown a little better tendency towards improvement. Durham (adjoining, on the sonth) sold in f mall parcels at Gd. A proapeotinp tunnel is to he let to-night. Exchange, in which ground a rise id being osnstruotod with the objeot of striking stone, had a further slight rise to Is, and deve optnenta are daily looked for. Fiery Cross, keep about former rates. On Tuesday next tenders close for taking ont the blcok on contract ; also for some further sinking. Business in shores may eocn be looked for again. Golden Treasure have had buyers at 2s 9d, sellers aeking 3s; and Golden Load had some limited bn&ino«s. Full crushing at the Globe Battery is being rosumed, and ere long better returns will be tho order of £ho day. Homeward Bound and Happy

Tbo chamber in tho Inkerman mine, .nd the level therefrom to open out for Me reef have just been lot, and the works ■itart on Monday. Sellers of Lord Edwaid vk Ih, denoting more enquiry. In the VlorrijiKS mine splendid leaders are being •iut, and shares have been selling now and -,hen at about former prices. No. 2 Dark oxhibit jnat a slightly easier tendency, and Scotia have been wanted at 9d. The operationd in the latter aro paid to be in very likely country just now. Alter an unusually long period of slackness, some .inquiry for United Alpines is noticeable, which of course indicates an improvement. A better show of stone in the Venus mine la reported. Operations in the Weloome mine ■re attracting some notice, doubtleßS from the fact that the extension of No. 9 lovel will reach new ground of a likely character A small orufhing of 90 tons from the Wealth mine has just beon concluded, and when tho boxes are cleared it should show a highly payable average. In the top level there is jußt the ground to lead on to stone at any moment.
