Keefton, 2nd. May. At tbo Inkerman mine this morning, two men sinking a Rhaft had put in four nolo3 charged with blasting gelatine. All exploded, and they oleared the dirt from tbreo holes when it waa notified the fourth had not taken proper effect, and put in a drill to deepen the hole again, whon a email qnantity exploded, severely burning tbe arm of a man named Good, and blowing the dirt into the oyes of the other named Maloney. The accident was of a painful though not serious nature.
