Three months' bills are at ?A per cent. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stook, 103 j 3J per cent, do, 96. New Zealand longborried wheat, 455, market weaker ; New Zealand wheat on passage, 44s Cd ; barley, 3ls : oats, 2tJ3 6d ; beans, 375. Hemp — Wellington fair quality averages £20 15s. Canterbury lamb, 4}d ; mutton unchanged. Beef — Forequarters, 3Jd ; hindquarters. 4^d. The bulk of the South Australian wheat offered for sale was bought in. Victorian wheat, 44a 3d, restricted. Sugar— Best German beet, 13s Cd, steady ; Java, 153. No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, f.o.b. ia Clyde, 45s 3d. (Received May 2, 10 30 a.m.) London, Ist May. Arrived— Firth of Dornaoh, barque, from Lyttelton (6th January); Turakina, ship, from Napier (24th January). (Received May 2, noon.) Sydnet, This Day. Arrived— Adelaide, from Thames ; Eio, from Napier; Cuthona, from Moneonui' Madura, from Whangaroa. Sailed— Darcy Pratt, for Auokland. Newcastle, This Dat. Sailed— Presto, for Auckland. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable message from their London offioe, dated Ist instant :— Frozen Meat —Beef, market firmer. New Zealand hind quarters are worth 4Jdper lb. Other qnotations are unchanged since last telegram. New Zealand Hemp— For medium, quotations are unchanged. Common qualities ate neglected. Tallow is in good demand. Fine mutton is worth £28, and good beef JE26 10s per ton respectively. • i
