Another beat of the Wellington Bowing Club's Junior Pairs waa rowed last night. W. Brown (bow), W. Wilson (stroke), and T. Dix (oox). were the winning crew, defeating Bennett (bow),* T. Hal pin (stroke), and C. Dix (oox), by about two lengths. Mr. W. Brideon was starter, and Mr. Patterson, captain of the club, acted as judge. Tho handicaps for the sculling race between member* of the Wellington Bowing Club for the M'Kay gold medal have been doolared. Tho rodoubtable Bridson hoe been pat at scratch, and liberal concessions have been made to other competitors. The first heats will be rowed on Monday evening next. Two heats of tho Star Boating Club s Senior Sculls were got off laßt night. A. W. Newton defeated H. W. Pownall with ease. In the race between W. H. Morrah and E. L. Burnes a collision occurred. Morrah continued rowing, and came home first. Burnes claimed the rac* on the foul, but hi 3 appeal was disallowed. In the Junior Sculls, W. Wiggins won easily from A. W. G. Burnes, and C. Pearce came home about two lengths ahead of K. D Duncan. Mesar* . W. H. Kield (captain), and E. Jackson (deputy captain), acted as starter and judge rospeotively.
