A POST AND TELEGRAPH CONFEREN CE.

J BY TiIJtGBAPH.I (Our Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, THIB DAT. A conference will be held at Wellington next week of delegates from the Postal and Telegraph Officers' Association. There will be three delegates from each island, in addition to three members of the Executive Committee. The latter will be represented by Messrs. W. F. Young (President), A. A. D. M'Laughlan < Vice- President), and A. W. Oxley (General Secretary). The delegates will be Messrs. White (Post Office, Dunedin), Andrews (Telegraph Department, Christchurch), J. Hay (Blenheim), W. Henly (Napier), Coffey (Telegraph Department, Auckland), and Beswick (Genetal Post Offioe, Wellington). The conference will probably hare an interview with tbe Hon. Mr. Ward, Postmaster-General and Commissioner of Telegraphs, with a view to getting their association officially reoognised.
