Dunxdin, 6th January. The Danadin Amateur Athletic Club hare selected the following members to do trials on the 21tt, with a view of Bending a team to Auckland to represent the club in the Championship Meeting : —Long jump — Pram and John Taiaro*. Ha.f-mile— Neia, Turton, and Banchop. One hnndred yards -Waldie. Mile— Ness, Le Cren, Tnrton, and Bauchop. Walks— Bain, Jan., Thomas, and M'Kelvey. Two hundred and fifty yards —Mills and O'Meara. Four hnndrei and forty yards — A. W. Morris. Jan., and Mills. Three miles —Ness, H. Kane, H. A. La Cren, and E. Heaton. Mr. Bhodes has accepted the position of delegate for the Dunedin Amateur Athletic Club to the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. Chbistchurch, 6th January. The Canterbury Amateur Athletic Club has ohoßen the following to represent the olub at the Champion Meeting at Auckland ; — D. Wood, for the half-mile, one mile, and three miles ; J. F. Qriereon, half-mile and mile ; H. S. Cocks, for walks j W. J. Moir, for putting the weight and the qnarter-mile nurdles ; H. W. Poßtlethwaite, for the 120 yards hurdles, long jump, and high jump, No sprinter has been selected, and L. A. Cuff cannot go North.
