Professor Bernhoim, a pupil of Dr. Kooh, states that the foundation of consumption lymph is bouillon made from horseflesh. A tubercle baoillus is introduced, whioh develops the virus. The baoilli then die, but to enßnre their ezolnsion the liquid is preßaed through unglazed porcelain. Tho compound is again supplied with baoilli, and tho proooss repeated sevoral timed. Half per cent, of oarbolio solution is added to prevent putrefaotioD. Professor Bernheim says it is impossible to determine the strength of the remedy.
