The ship Wellington, bonnd to Lyttelton i .oamo into collision with a steamer in the English Channel. Her bows were stove in, arid she returned to London for repairs. [The ship Wellington is owned by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, and is a fine iron vessel of 1247 tons register. She was on her way from London to Lyttelton with a general oargo when the accident happenod.]
