THE POLICE TROUBLE.
EENEWED BIOTING. [BPBCIAI..) (Reooived July 10, noon.) London, 9th July. The polioemen who have been dismissed complain that they were deserted by their comrades, and insist on boinfj reinstated. Renewed rioting occurred in Bow-street to-day, and 16 arrests wero effected. Attempts wore made to rosoue the prisoners, which rosulted in tho rioters being batoned, and Borne amonnt of bloodBhod. The military -were held in readinoss, but were not called out. It is asserted that the discontent is confined to tho young men of the City Polioo Force. [UNITXD PKEBB ASSOCIATION.! (Received July 10, 1 p.m.) London, 9th July. The charge of rioting against John Williams, the Socialist, w&s not proved, and he was discharged.
