This Day. The Legislative Council has agreed to the motion that a railway conference should be held to consider the question of uniformity of gauge on the main lines of New South Wales, Viotoria, South Australia, and Queensland. Hobart, This Day. Three Oppositionists and two Ministerialists havo been eleoted delogates to the Federal Convention— namely, Meßarß. Bird, Clark, Brown, Burgess, and Harnall. Two moro aro to be selected by the Legislative Council.
