Accidents and Fatalities. THE STEWART ISLAND BOAT CATASTROPHE.

Tho circumstances of the fatal boat accident at Stewart Island are peculiarly painful, the young men being relatires and on their way to visit the mother of two of them. They were all members of the crew of the sohoonor Janet Ramsay. Neill's mother resides at Henley, in the Taieri. He was a youth of 19. George Josa was 25. They seem to hare reoognised the necessity for caution, as they pnt the boat ashore ana took in ballast, but got into the rip on opening ont of the bay with as easterly wind, and tho boat got filled. '
