The Woodville Railway Grievance.
[Bt Telegraph. I [united pbxßß association.] Woodvjlli, This Dat. An indignation meeting 1 , attended by 400 people, was held hut night to protest against the policy oi the Railway Commissioners in removing the terminal station building*. A resolution was passed that the proposal was a violation of the original pnblio works soheme, since endorsed by aU Governments, while it upsets the conveniences of railway communication to settlers in the dirtriot. A deputation was appointed to wait on the Commissioners, and to interview members of 'Parliament on the matter. Numerous speeches were made during the evening, and strong feeling c vinood against the policy aud management of the Railway Commissioners. As the proposal is dearly a breach of the representations on whioh tbe Government sold the town lands here, it is also hinted that the aotion of the Commissioners may lead to a disturbance of a serious oharaeter. A resolution was also passed urging on the construction of the Woodville-EktUhuaa line. f
