A mooting of tho Land Board was held yesterday, tlioro being present Messrs. J. W. A.. Marchant, Commissioner (in tho chili ) , W. A. Fitsshorbert, W.W. M'Cardlo, and Jl Bunny. Tho following transfers wero ai/ren'l tj :— Sootion 53, blook 7, Ongo, from Mr. T. Dixon to Mr. W. Wool ford ; section Hi, block 1, Makuri, from Mr. J. Haisoy to Mr. B. A. Thompson, jun. Tho Board also granted tho following oxtcnsiona :— Sootion 5, block 9, Mangahao, Mr. K. Mackle ; B3otion 10, block <4, Ongo, Mr. J. Reid. The following applications for tho issno of titloß wero granted :— Mr. W. Armitage, section 2i, blook 11, Mangahao; Mr. J. W. TliurBton, sections C and 7, block 4, Omnium; Mr. J. S. Harrison, Bcetion 22, block J, Pohangina; Mr. W. JoHsen, section .iv, block 3, Mangahao ; Mr. W. H. Fron< ; h, Hootion 15, block 5, Makuri ; Mr. A. Seymour, soction 17, block 1, Maknn. Cameron, section 25, blook 1, toMr.W X Mackio ; Mr. C. Witt, Fection 55, block 9, Mangaono, to himsolf and Mr G. Dovonport ; Mr J Kennedy, sections 9 and 10, block 11, to Mr. T. H. Groves; Mr. J. McKenny, Boction 25, block 15, Mangahoa, to Mr. J. Biaaot; Mr. A. Soufllat, section 12, blook 10, Mangahao, to M. A Bis-ot. It was resolved to allow tho following selectors to continno to pay interest on tho capitalised value* of thoir holdings for 14 yenrH from tho date of tho Jiceiwiß instead of 10 years, provided they piy tho interest pnnotually — Mr. H. Muldrook, BPctioiil7, block 9, Wairoa; Mr. G. O'Reilly, section 8, block 8, Wairoa. Permission was granted to Mr. J. D. Waller to convort perpetual lease section 1, block, 10, Mangahao, into a deferred payment Bcotion. Mra. It. Stowart applied for potmission to defer making improvements on soctions 8 and 10, block 1, Mangaone, for thrco years. It wao resolved that tho improvements must bo dono by Juno, 1893. Timo was grantod to tho selector of Boction 31, block 11, Mangaono, to effect improvements and make his paymentn. Mr W. Korahaw applied to be allowed to obtain the titles for sees G9 and 70, blook 11, Mangaono, although all tho improvements had beon affected on one section only. The Board dooided that oaoh soction must be improved. It was roßolved, bowovor, to issue a title for tho improved Hootion. Tho transfor of seotion 47, blook 10, Pohangina, from Mr. .T. F. W. Do Itidder to some suitable porson was approvod. Tho Board decided to obtain dofinito proof that Mr. J. Beaumont ia leaving tbo district boforo tho transfer of sections 10, block 7, and 22. blook 9, Mangahao, from him to Messrs. T. and W. Gilbert is agreed to. The transfer of Reotion 55, block 1, Maknri, from Mr. A. P. Mason to Mr. D. Boichonback was appvovod, subject to a certificate l-einp given tliat all required lraprovomonts had been effected. 'Iho Board approved tho transfor of section 3, block 13, Blangalmo, from Mr. F. Malcolm to Mr. Balcur, subject to a cortificato being received that tho required improvnments had been dono. As sufficient reasons had not boon givon, tho Board refused a transfer of soetion 51, block 8, Mangahao, from Mr. H. Katßoy to Mr. N. Boetham. Mr. W. A. Floyd wrote oxplaining tho circumstancoa tinder whioh ho allowod Mr. T. Powell to oooupyluasoction.nndho asked thatthotransfer to that gentleman should be oomplotod. EofnHed. It waß docidod to ask Mr. F. H. Vile to furnish further reasons for a transfor of sootion 38, blook 8, Makuri, to Mr. G. Winter. The reasons adduced not boing sufficient, tho Board refused a tranfor of neotion 68 and part of section 71, block 9, Makuri, to Mr. J. Breods. Timo was given to Mr. F. Collier to effect improvomonts on seotion 13, blook 3, Mangahao, as ho has mot with an acoidont. Applications from the following solectors for a ro hearing of their claims for re-valuation woro deferred for tho prosont:— Mossrs. M. Wilson and N. Svonsßon, sections 5 and 0, blook 11, Mangaono ; W. B. Mathoson, sootion 1, blook 7, Mangaono ; J. H. X oiling, sootion 22, blook <i, Wairoa ; D. Kitchen, jun., sootion 31, blook 3, Wairoa. Proposals by tho Waitotara County Council for tho exponditure of deforred thirds wero approved. Ifc was deoidod to inform tho Kiwitea Eoad Board that their proposals for expending acornod thirds on the iSandon Block could not be approved. Plans and schedules of Bootions in the Wcraturn. township, togothor with proposals for tho sale of tho same, woro laid boforo tho Board, and it was resolved to offor tho land under tho Acts of 1885 and 1888 as a village sottloment, prices to be from £1 to JEIS. On tho motion of Mr. Bunny it was decided to enforoo tho conditions of salo in roi?ard to tho sootions rocently sold. A rnlinir of tho Undor-Seorotary as to tho courao to bo adopted to obtain possession of a forfeited doferrod payment soction when the late Hoenseo cannot bo found wa3 adopted. The intoreßt of the licensee of sootion 71, block 10, Mangaone, was oanoellod, and it was resolved to offer tho land for Bale. It was resolved to allow Mr. T. Kennedy to use seotion 17, Manukau, on the same terms as Mr. Morris occupies sections 5 and C, Mannkan. A list of soleetors to whom the Commissioner has allowed time to effect improvements was approved.
