The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Aftenoy Company, Limited, have received the following telegram 1 from their London office, dated Bth instant :— Wool—Since the opening: of the tales all descriptions have advanced id per lb, except scoured, which has advanced |d to Id, and fine and coarse cross-bred, which latter are unchanged ; 149,000 biles have been sold. Frozen Meat— Canterbury mutton is worth 4Jd, and Wellington, 4Jd per lb. Attention is directed to Mrs. Walker's advertisements on the first, second, third, and fourth page* of to-day'g issue.
