The Volunteers.

The trained men of the Newtown Rifles will fire the firat stage of their clasß-firing on Friday morning, at 5 o'clock, at the Cadet range. Ammunition will be served out on Wednesday night, at half-past 7, at Mount Cook. Members are reminded of the Government parade on Saturday, at 3 p.m., at the Volunteer Drillshed, in conaequence of whioh there will be no parade on Friday night. All absenteea will be fined.
