THE DRIVERS' DEMANDS.
[SPECIAL.] London, sth Octobor. Tho city polioe reooived two days' extra j pay for their services during tbo recent strike. Mr. Burns states that the distress resulting from the dock strike will absorb the greater portion of tho surplus money, and tho balance will be paid into the credit of the Dockers' Union. At the moetinj* of the 'bns and tram men held at midnight, which was presided over by Lord Bosobery, it was determined to demand a reduction in the day's labour to twelvo hours, inoluding two of relief. The Chairman donounced the tyranny and espionage to which the employe's are subjeoted.
