♦ A WIPE MURDERER SENTENCED TO DEATH. THE PLAIBTED TRAGEDY. A DOUBLY FATAL FIGHT. (.XJNITKD FBESS ASSOCIATION. J (Received May 31, 12.25 p.m.) MKLBOtTBNB, THIB DAT. John Anglin, who on 27th December, after breaking his brother-in-law's arm with a ballet, fired twice at his wife, of whom he was abanrdly jealous, and killed her, has been sentenced to death. Phillip Plaisted, the well-known organist, who murdered his wife by cntting her throat on 10th May, is now hopelessly insane, and has been committed to the asylnm. The mother of the young man Fitzpatriok, who fell dead whilst fighting with another named Richardson at Ulapna West on Wednesday night, died from the shook occasioned by her son's death. At the inquest on the body of Fitspatriok, the jury returned a verdict that his death was caused by exoitement.
