The Reichstag has adopted a Bill providing for the insurance of aged and indigent workmen. New York, 10th May. While a cage in the Kaska Colliery, Pennsylvania, was descending, the rope snapped and the cage fell a distance of 500 feet, killing ton colliers who were in it.
