CANON FARRAR AND THE BISHOPRIC OF SYDNEY.
CANADIAN MAIL LINES. [special.] London. Bth May. Mr. J. L. Toole, the comedian, is inclined to visit Australia, but has not yet made up his mind. Canon Farrar denies that ovurtures havo been made to him to aocept the vacant Bishopric of Sydney. Sir J. Mocdonald, the Premier of Canada, is coming to England to consult the Government regarding the granting of subsidies to mail lines between Canada and Australia ana Canada and England.
