«. [Bt Telegeaph.J [.united peesB association.] Auckland, 16th April. One of the largest shareholders in the Te Aroha Gold and Silver Mining Company (W. Jamießon) returned to Australia to-day. He has visited the company's property at Te Aroha, and 'after an investigation of the possibilities of the mine, has come to the oonclusion that there is a very fair prospect for the shareholders. The company hope in a short time to commence the purchase of ores from the surrounding districts and to reduce them at the works. Mr. W. S. Greenville, who leaves for Australia, being in charge of two mining properties to put on the market there, was presented with a gold chain and quartz pendant by old Thames rosidents.
