| UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Stdnet, 30th November. The coal trimmers' difficulty has been amicably settled. No information having been received as to whether any space has been reserved at the Paris Exhibition for Mew South Wales, the Government wired to tbe Agent-General, instructing him to provide necessary space for New South Wales exhibits. Sir Saul Samuel has replied, suggesting that the colony Bbould erect an annexe at Paris at their own expense, but Sir Henry Parked cabled in reply that sucn a course was impraotioable, and that the colony would not exhibit unles9 proper space was provided.
