Wjxd— Between north-west and south-west at all places north of Nnpicr and New Plymouth ami southward of Tironru and Quecnstown, and between north-east and north-weat at all other places Babiisiktbk— Further me at places north of Eust Cape, Taupo, nnd New Plymouth ; fall tlsewhere obi — Heavy on western coast and between C'natlepoint and Kaikoura Warnings for northerly gales havo been sent to all places south of Napier and New Plymouth Synopsis— Throughout the country tho barometer continued falling until Monday morning, nnd since then it hiß linen everywhere. The weather has continued fine at places north of Napier and New Plymouth, but thence southward theio were heavy northerly gales from about midnight on fcaturdm to noon on Monday, and since then the weather has been fine «ov H.
