Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Coptio, which recently arrived in England from Now Zealand. Captain Bence dted shortly after the Coptic left Wellington. A proposal to open tho Manchester Library and Art Gallery on Sundays has met with the approval of the Ri^ht Rev. Dr. Moorhouse, Bishop of Manchester, and the Right Rev. Herbert Yaughan, R.C. Bishop of Salford. There is a movement on foot in Paris to forco tho-Governmenf; to repress tho syndicate formed for niaiutaiuing tho price of copper.
