" Wellington, 22nd August, 1887. Dr. Spekr.— Dear Sir,— For the past three years I have been a great sufferer, especially in winter, from a peculiar affection in both my feet, which was very painful, and incapacitated me from work. I have boen under medical treatment from more than one doctor, but I never obtained even temporary relief. Soon after your arrival hero I oonsulted you, when you took my case in hand. lam glal to say that I got immediate relief, and in less than three weeks I was quite myself again, and have not now tho least sign of my old complaint, which appears completely gone. — Yours faithfully, Ed. Cahill. Glen, 7th February, 1887. I wish to inform those who are suffering from headache not to despair, but to get reliof from Dr. Speer's treatment. I bless the day he came to Dunedin. Both my health and money wore gone, as I had tried all the doctors I could think of before I called on him. Through his skill and attention lam now well and strong, and as this is all I can do in his behalf, 1 think it right to make known his ability in treating suffering creatures liko myself.— Helen Carey. Munro's Cottages, Dunedin, Mar. 19, 1887 I bavo boen ill over 30 year?. Have been a constant source of annoyance and trouble to all connected with me. During these years I have been under eighteen (18) doctors, and havo spent a fortune in following out thoir instructions. Seven weeks ago I called on Dr. Spoer. He explained my case thoroughly to mo, which none of the othor doctorß could or would do, and ho has in that time made a sound, healthy woman of mo. I feel hotter now than I have since I was ton years old. This I am- willing to oertify to before anyone. — Mas. E. Mdllis. Mount-street, Port Chalmers, 26th January, 1887. From an accident I had an aboess form in the muscles of my back. I was ten months in the Auckland Hospital, where the doctors cut and cut again, but failed to give me relief. Previous to this I was four months under a dootor in Port Chalmers without effect. At last they would do no moro They said let it take its course. At this time a probe could be run into tho open wound four inches. I had 19 months of ohis misery. In about two months Dr. Spoer has cured me sound and well. I can run, jump, and do as I plenso, and am ready for any kind of work, and the wound is healed. If anyone doubts this thoy can call and see me, as lam well known in Port Chalmers. I think I am doing nothing but justice in publishing this as a voluntary act of gratitude to tho doctor.— Joskph Jones. Quoeu-atreet, North Dunodin, January G, 1887. Having had a bad face for some years, and tried various kinds of treatment, all of which failed, I called on Dr. Speer. He told mo what disease it was, which nono of the other dootors could, and has complotely cured me in six weeks. These aro faots, and I foel grateful to the doctor for relieving mo of a very unpleasant complaint, and adviso other sufferers to give him a trial. He at least tells you whether ho can cure you or not. — Georcie Brown. Maori Hill, Dunedin, Dec. 18th, 188 C. For nearly two years I have been suffering from a variety of diseases, according to the Dunedin doctors, each dootor treating me for a different disease, which ho oouldn't, or rather didn't, cure. Four months' treatment under Dr. Speer has cured me sound and well. I am willing to swear this before any Justice of the Peace. I publish this fact to induce those who are now throwing away their money and health to call and see my man. He at least is genuine. — A. Little. Witness to signature :— Andrew Wilson. Burkes, December 18, 1886. I havo suffered for five years from a sore leg, and I havo applied to several medical men in Dunedin without effect — simply throwing my money away. Dr. Speer has cured me sound and well in three months. David Thomson. Witness to signature : — Sworn before mo this 13th day of Docember, 1886— John T. Wbight, J.P. November 24, 1886. I have been suffering for some time with rheumatic gout in my knoe, and also from my kidney. I havo been under tho treatment of Dr. Speer, and I now oertify that I have received a great bonofit from him, and I Btrongly recommend anyone suffering from any chronio disease to consult him. lam quite sure they will have every attention paid them.— C. H. Stutfield, Foxton Villa, Ingestre-street, Wellington. Witness to signature : Miss Cunningham. Wellington, 13th July, JBB7. Dr. Speer, — About a year ago, when yon wore in Wellington, I oonsulted you about bad pains in my head and shoulders, and general bodily ailuionts. I was about two years under various doctors, and was treated from the Wellington Hospital, but I received no benefit, in fact I was worse instead of better. After being treated by Dr. Speer for about Bix weoks, I found myself, much to my surprise, as well as ever, aud I havo kopt so to this day. I mako this testimony willingly, as I consider this is due to Dr. Speer. Mart Love (Widow), South-road. Witness— J. Dwan. Welllington, 15th July, 1886. I beg to state that for a long time I have been suffering from physical and nervous debility. Some five months ago, when Dr. Speor was in Auckland, I wrote and placed myself under his treatment, and am now gratified to gay I am perfectly cured, and a sound, healthy, man again. I cannot speak too highly of Dr. Spoor, as ho has succeeded whon other doctor*failoii, and that without even seeing mo until to-day, when I first had tho pleasure of speaking to him. H. Bannerman, of Mnsterton. Newtown, Wellington, 17th February, 1887. Facts are truths. For 30 jcars I have suffered from chronio disease, which was gradually killing mo. I havo tried dozens of patent medicines and any numbor of doctors, without effect. At last'l got so bad that I could hardly work. I havo been under Dr. Speer seven mouths, and I feel like a i ow man. Lot me recommend anyone suffering to call and see him. If it is possiblo to obtain rolief ho will give it. — Charles Richard. THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO TEST THE TRUTH OF ABOVE.
