DICKSON, WHOLESALE AND FAMILY GROCER, Lambton Quat. npHERE is no joking with mo. I know of a tailor in this city who sent a tender to the Government, offering to make blue cloth suits for £5 ss, saying that if any other tailor should tender to do them for less the Government was, to let him know, then he wonld make them for less than the smallest tender. I am making very goad Wellington Tweed Snite for £2 105,. but if a suit' made in slop style will do, I can make them for £2. After an apprenticeship of 36 years I should be a 1 dreadful duffer if I let any man excel me a my trade. A suit wopld certainly coat me 10s lesß than the tame suit wonld cost any man who is not a tailor. J. HUXLEY. WINSOR & NEWTON'S QIL TUBS COIO- JRS Jnst received* ATSdEAPH,o«4,W pEBDoaN> ' At E.
