The weather is still favourable for training, and a large number of horses took advantage of the fine morning to appear on the course. _ There is every prospect at present of a bright day to-morrow, when the race for the Metropolitan Stakes takes place. Enfilade went two miles at a moderate pace. Phaon and Felon have greatly improved in their going. Spado Guinea and Pasha did a mile and a half in splendid style, the last mile being done in lmin 50sec. The former finished strongly, and altogether tho trial waa the best yet seen on tho tan. Dunlop and Acolyte did a gallop over the Derby course, both going strongly and finishing well. The latter moved rather stiffly after his spin. Morok also did a great trial. Ho was sent two miles, tho last of which ho covered in lmin 48seo. First Cheater and Kitawa did a serviceable gallop, and Cardigan went twice round splendidly. Frisco, who has improved in hie going, did a mile in a very good style. Matador was only out for moderate exercise. Tho Jewel is in first-rato condition, and did an excellent performance this morning. Jewel and Pasha are the best outsiders. Cairo has also been doing good work lately.
