THE VESSEL FLOATED, [Br Telegbaph.J I UNITED FBEBB ABBOOIATIOM. I Gbkymouth, 15th September. Mr. Daniels and his gang of men have been engaged clearing away the gravel around the a. 8. Maitai for the purpose of placing her in an artificial ohmnel. They first lowered hor about six inohas, then canted her on the other bilge, lowering her abont two feet more. The shingle wnl be removed next. It is not intended to put waya under her, as she will be floated out of the gut now being dug for hor. Mr. Daniels says that the vessel has not received the slightest injury of any kind. This Day. Mr. Daniels yesterday completed his gnt for launching the Maitai, and at high tide she floated, and ia now lying alongifde the wharf. Her discharged crew are still in town, and will resume their respeotive duties.
